Tyko’s film work favors a deliberate embrace of the analogue—a cinematic grammar shaped by VHS, improvisation, and pragmatic authorship.
Highlights include Anti‑Climax (April 24, 2024, Art Brut Praha)—a live‑cinema performance where audience members became script writers in real time as a film was premiered before them while it was being filmed down the street.
The OBJECT:PRAHA series builds on that experimental ethos: early chapters like OBJECT:PRAHA II (2022) which documented pandemic‑era happenings on VHS, reclaiming muted public performance as lowbrow community rituals.
The latest of the series, Momentument, was premiered in Prague on August 21st 2025.
Also in August 2025, TYKO:TV, a digital archive of Tyko’s footage, was launched, featuring over 100 hours of prague tapes, curated in a retro, digital enviornment to emulate the nostalgia of midnight television.
